he UMB Community Engagement Center (CEC) remains a place of hope and assistance to residents who may be struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though their doors are closed, CEC staff have been making regular wellness calls to residents, providing COVID-19 updates and sharing free resources via Facebook and Instagram, and partnering with organizations such as arabbers to distribute food and supplies to the most vulnerable.
One thing that the pandemic has not slowed is progress on construction of the new CEC facility. Renovations are continuing in the new space, and we hope to open on schedule later this summer. Please enjoy the sneak peek below!
